Pursuant to section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991, the Minister for the Environment hereby gives the following notice.
N o t i c e
1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Resource Management (Revocation of Approval of Auckland Electric Power Board as Requiring Authority) Notice 2006.
(2) This notice shall come into force on the 28th day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.
2. Revocation of approval as requiring authority—The approval of Auckland Electric Power Board as a requiring authority for the operation, maintenance, and improvement of its existing substations and underground cable easement for the transmission, distribution, or conduction of electricity on electric lines* defined in section 2 of the Electricity Act 1968 in the Auckland region is hereby revoked on the basis Auckland Electric Power Board is no longer a network utility operator.
