Pursuant to Regulation 101A (1) (a) of the Electricity Regulations 1997, I, Sanjai Deepak Raj, acting under delegated authority from the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Economic Development, hereby give public notice that from 1 February 2007,
the types of electrical appliances and fittings listed in the Schedule require a declaration of compliance by the supplier
before being sold or offered for sale in New Zealand.
All previous public notices given pursuant to Regulation 101A (1) (a) of the Electricity Regulations 1997 are revoked and substituted by this notice, effective from 1 February 2007.
All valid declarations of compliance made by suppliers for electrical appliances and fittings before 1 February 2007, remain valid after 1 February 2007.
