Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation changes the classification of the two reserves described in the First Schedule from recreation reserves to local purpose (esplanade) reserves and further, changes the classification of the two reserves described in the Second Schedule from recreation reserves to local purpose (accessway) reserves, subject to the provisions of the Act.
