Government Training Establishments
Under section 159N (4) of the Education Act 1989, the Minister of Education gives the following notice.
N o t i c e
1. This notice may be cited as the Education (Exemptions from tertiary charter requirements for schools seeking tertiary funding of $10,000.00 or less in a year and government training establishments) Notice 2005.
2. This notice applies from the date of its publication.
Introduction
All organisations that seek or receive funding from the Tertiary Education Commission must have an approved charter unless exempt from this requirement.
Exemption
The Minister exempts, under section 159N (4) of the Education Act 1989, the following classes of organisation from tertiary charter requirements:
? schools seeking tertiary funding of $10,000.00 or less in a year; and
? government training establishments.
