Judge Appointed
Pursuant to section 5 of the District Courts Act 1947 and section 5 (1) of the Family Courts Act 1980, Her Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand has been pleased to appoint
David Alexander Burns, barrister of Auckland
to be a District Court Judge, to exercise civil and
criminal jurisdiction within New Zealand, and to exercise the jurisdiction of the Family Courts, with effect on and from 15 March 2005.
Pursuant to section 5 of the District Courts Act 1947,
Her Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand has been pleased to appoint
Susan Elizabeth Thomas, barrister of Wellington
be a District Court Judge, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction within New Zealand, on and from 23 March 2005.
