Pursuant to section 34 (1) (a) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, the Minister of Transport gives notice of his intention to make ordinary rules regarding passenger, crew member, and checked baggage weights in the following CAR Parts:
Part 121, 125, 135-Air Operations
Part 1-Definitions and Abbreviations
The submission close-off time for the proposed rules is
23 May 2002.
Copies of the Notice of Proposed Rule Making
(NPRM 02-05) are available for viewing at Aviation House,
