Pursuant to Regulation 9 (5) of the Health and Safety in Employment (Pipeline) Regulations 1999, I, J. M. Chetwin, Secretary of Labour, hereby give notice that I am satisfied that Lloyds Register of Shipping meets the criteria set out in regulation 9 (1) of the Health and Safety in Employment (Pipeline) Regulations 1999 for recognition as a certifying authority for the carrying out of inspections and the issuing of certificates of fitness in accordance with regulation 9 of the Health and Safety in Employment (Pipeline) Regulations 1999.
