Declaring Land Acquired for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes and Granting Easement in the City of Dunedin Pursuant to sections 20 and 28 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto, is hereby acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes and shall vest in the Otago Regional Council subject to a right of way easement as described in the Third Schedule hereto over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto to be held appurtenant to the land described in the Fourth Schedule hereto, on the day of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
