Application to Import Marine Mammal Product Pursuant to sections 4 and 5 of the Marine Mammals Protection Act 1978, Robert Kirton of Auckland, has applied to the Minister of Conservation for a permit to import marine mammal product, namely a carved scrimshaw artefact from Russia, probably walrus tusk.
