Reserved Area of Lake Taupo Waters Notice 1998 Pursuant to regulation 25 (1) (a) of the Lake Taupo Regulations 1976, the Secretary for Local Government gives the following notice. N o t i c e 1. Title and commencement (1) This notice may be cited as the Reserved Area of Lake Taupo Waters Notice 1998. 2. Reserved Bathing Area Notified (1) The area of Lake Taupo waters situated south/west of the Lake Taupo Landing Reserve within lines running 120 degrees (true) from the public jetty and 033 degrees (true) from the outer flashing green channel marker. (2) Nothing in this clause has the effect of excluding any person entering the reserved area to render assistance in case of accident or emergency.
